We're back from Disney!! Well, we got back last Wednesday but I'm just updating tonight finally! Our trip to Disney was, for the most part, great. The not so great part was poor Alan got sick the first night we were there :( He was down for the first day, but he rallied for the rest of the trip. This post is probably going to be really long, just a warning for the 2 people that read my blog-ha!! We left on Wednesday, Feb. 8th. Our wake up call came at 4 a.m.!!!! I slept terrible that night, Colson had a really hard time going to sleep and let's be honest, nobody wants to get up at 4 a.m.
But we did it and here are the kids ready to go!

We got to Orlando fairly smoothly. Colson was pretty good on the plane rides and both kids actually fell asleep from Atlanta to Orlando. We took the "magical express" to our resort and got checked in without problems. Liv wanted to go swimming immediately, so off we went to the pool. We swam for a bit, but it was chilly out of the pool so we went back up to the room and got ready for dinner. Our family of 4 ate dinner at our resort that night at Cape May Cafe and then went back to the room to rest up for the week ahead! Unfortunately, Alan woke up around midnight and was so sick with stomach flu like symptoms :( Poor guy was sick for a couple hours. Colson woke up in the middle of the night so I put him in bed between Alyvia and me. Nobody but Alyvia got a full nights sleep that first night!
We were ready to go the next morning though...minus our sick Daddy. He couldn't go with us to Magic Kingdom Thursday :(
We missed him lots, and Mommy was so glad that Nana and Papa were there to help her!
As soon as we arrived, Pluto was greeting and we got to meet him!
Alyvia saw mouse ears as we walked down Main Street and had to get a pair! As we were walking, the Move It, Shake It, Celebrate It Street Party started. Both kids loved it and it was a great way to start the day!
We headed to Adventureland to start out. The very first ride for Papa, Livi and Colson was Aladdin's magic carpets!
The rest of our day was spent throughout Adventureland, Fronteirland and Fantasyland. We all rode Pirates of the Carribean (one of Livi's favorites), the Jungle Cruise and saw the Tiki Bird show, where Colson fell asleep. Nana, Livi and I rode through the Haunted Mansion. Colson woke up from his nap and we all were back at it. We rode It's a Small World,
watched Mickey's Phillharmagic Show,
rode Snow White's Scary Adventure, Pooh's Adventure and Peter Pan. So much fun! We missed Alan so much, but had a lot of fun with Nana and Papa. We headed back to the hotel and daddy met up with us there. We took the boat over the the Boardwalk and had dinner at ESPN. We were all EXHAUSTED from our big day and we headed back to our room- we had an early date with the princesses the next morning! I think for now, I'll leave it here and start with Friday the next time I blog!
