Sheep and Santa

Our Sunday school Christmas program was this morning at church.  Alyvia had the distinguished role of "sheep".  She took it very seriously though and she kept practicing her "BAAAAA" very loudly around the house.  She did such a good job singing at the front of church.  Her group sang "Away in the Manger" and the chorus of "Go Tell it on the Mountain", it was so cute!

My cute little lamb walking in

She was dressed like a lamb, but she looked like a little angel to me :)

Alyvia and I did some shopping this afternoon and then we met Daddy and Colson to go visit Santa!  Alyvia was so excited to meet him!  I wasn't sure how Cole would do, but he was o.k.  He was actually kind of indifferent to him, no tears so we're calling it a success!

We had a great family day today and we're super excited for Christmas next week!

Letters to Santa

About a week ago Alyvia and I sat down and wrote her letter to Santa.  After she was done, she decorated it so Santa would know which one was from her :)  Our letter ready to go...

Then she helped me write Colson's letter to Santa...

She may have put one or two things in there for herself :)
Today we went and mailed the letters at Macy's in the mall-we hope we were good and get what we asked for!

Congratulations Shane-a BU grad!

This morning Alan took Alyvia to her Christmas program rehearsal at church and I headed to Renaissance Coliseum for Shane's graduation.  The graduation program was about 2 hours and the key note speaker was the president of the national Chamber of Commerce-I thought he had a really nice speech.  After the ceremony, we went over the the Alumni Center and took pictures with the fam.  Congratulations Shane!

We celebrated at Agatucci's pizza tonight and Alyvia was very excited about the outfit she put together
I love her poses!

Snyder Cousin Christmas!

Tonight Chris and Anne hosted "Snyder Cousin Christmas".  I had to work all day and wasn't sure I would feel like going, but I'm glad we did!  Alan's parents kept the kids over night for us so we could stay out past 9 pm!  It makes me happy to celebrate with family-we had a very close extended family growing up and I miss our Sunday breakfast routine.  It was so fun to start our Christmas celebrations with my cousins tonight!

Party Time!

Alyvia had her Christmas party at school today-it's also her last day of school until January!  Colson and I headed over to school to help out this afternoon.  I was in charge of the craft and I had such stress, about a craft for 4 year olds (I know I need help)!  I actually made an early morning Wal-Mart run to add to my craft-but anyhow.....  The party turned out great, the kids LOVED making my snow man craft and everyone seemed to have fun-even Colson!

Alyvia's finished snow man!

A-TI-TUDE..as per usual!

Cole insisted on being in the middle of the circle game!!

He would NOT be unincluded!
Alyvia's Christmas program for school was scheduled for tonight, but her teacher's husband passed away unexpectedly this week so the program is being rescheduled.  We are saying prayers for Miss Mary and her family.

Famous Daves!

Tonight we ate dinner out at Famous Daves-yum!!  Colson came up with a unique way to eat his corn on the cob without getting his hands dirty, funny baby :)

It was nice just to eat dinner as a family of four....maybe next time I'll actually cook it-hah!

LUMC Christmas Program

Alyvia participated in the Christmas program at Laura church today.  She goes to "youf group" every Wednesday with Reagan and Rylie at Laura.  I had to work so I didn't get to see her, but daddy took some pictures.  Daddy said she did a pretty good job!
